Lazarus anime: Expected release date and everything else

"Lazarus," a new anime directed by *Cowboy Bebop*'s Shinichiro Watanabe, is now slated for a 2025 release.

Initially expected in 2024, the update was announced at San Diego Comic-Con.

The first teaser, released a year ago at Adult Swim Festival’s "Toonami on the Green," showcased the characters and sci-fi themes with a blend of electronic and jazz music.

The anime will be produced by MAPPA, known for works like *Jujutsu Kaisen* and *Attack on Titan's* final season, with *John Wick's* Chad Stahelski directing the action.

The series will feature 13 episodes as a sci-fi action thriller.
