Pixel 9 series looks great but at these prices it has to be at least as power efficient as the competition especially if it won't be as powerful.

I gotta admit: it looks very good.
I love when manifacturers design something that looks good outside and can also be consistent with the software inside.
Also every feature is avaible in all their p9 lineup and the price point is for 256gb space. True Apple??? This story of exaggerated prices for memories must end... On laptops and smartphones.

Looks nice, but I just got my Pixel 8 upgraded from the 6a, don't think the upgrades are big enough, I can wait a few generations at least for meaningful improvements.

To me the 9 series looks like a pretty big step forward for Pixels. The hardware design to me looks very premium and it looks more refined in general from the previous models. If they can get the overheating, battery life and software bugs fixed then Google will finally be top of the line on android.

Is the camera hump on the green pixel 9 actually a shiny green or steel? The pink one is very obvious...but I can't tell with the green one

Yeah it’s really pretty good looking phone… but the price in EU particularly here in Finland is €950. WHAT Google??!

G4 chipset will also heat as it is produced by samsung and based on exynos architecture. Next year TSMC will produce pixels. Heating problems will solve in Pixel 10

Did they fix that mediocre selfie camera for low-light capturing? That's the main reason that kept me from buying a Pixel 8 Pro in January of this year. When I tried the camera in the store, the selfie camera was so awful that I couldn't bring myself to buy one. I take a lot of selfies, so this wouldn't have worked for me, so I went with the Flip 5 instead.

Can you put in your review a section whether it is actually a good camera for it's price? I'm still in favor of capturing a factual moment over a wishful memory, so the whole AI stack irritates me in it's camera integration :)
