Katzenberg is such an unsung hero throughout his career.

He’s the guy that convinced Eisner to take a chance on “Airplane!”(1980) when they ran Paramount, and he’s done the same thing so many times, knowing how to spot pitches with potential, and guide the creatives to make something that will get a “yes” out of Eisner.

There’s a reason Dreamworks took off in the late 90s, while Disney’s momentum stalled.

I only wish that “Treasure Planet” and “Titan AE” were Katzenberg projects, because they would’ve done so much better commercially.

I watched this documentary 2 months ago and thought it was interesting but also a bit too short with little time given to going over more details about the making of each Renaissance movie.
