not capitalism, but the USA, I once read about an article in an American newspaper that said if children could become spoiled with free food in schools....

If we were actually able to use the "government" land that is sitting around waiting to be sold to developers eventually, for free, it belongs to us after all, people could start small farms for low cost and produce more food and a small profit for them selves. u have to buy land owned by the people, from the employees that u helped hire to represent you or who were hired to work for you. You need hundreds of thousands of $ to buy the land to start a tiny farm. But, yay, no solution but to raise food prices and starve the poor to the point of sickness and death. less people=less food needed. simple math

Facts and compassion will never survive in the USA. So many of the voters who are most affected by these situations continue to vote for government at all levels that perpetuates this system. You can't be rational with irrational individuals.

2 :13 I'm hoping that the rest if this posr is here but I can't see it. The rest actually does say that the person (forgive me but I can't recall the name right now) that blew the whistle and exposed this was actually killed shortly after reporting it. But no one talks about THAT PART

Notice how most of these examples were US-based? The problem is capitalism in the extreme, Australia is a capitalist society and yet our problems are nowhere near as bad as the US. My life-saving surgery cost me 1000 Australian dollars when the operation was closer to 60, 000 AUD. I paid the $1000 because I could afford not to wait the 3 months it would have taken in the public system which would have cost $0.
