Screen printing has never been easier with this new tool from xTool. Using the easy stretch frame and steel screens, you can take your design from the computer to the screen printer in less than an hour. I covered the basic setup using single-color screens and a couple of different items.

It's a great product. I have had the 51/130 for 4 months. Love it

A very thorough presentation, well done. This screen printing set up is great for one off or up to about 10 to 20 items and great for individualised creations. Costing could be pricey.

Hello! I'm trying this for the first time with the D1. How do you make sure that it is centered in XCS so that it will center on the screen? I'm struggling with this. Thanks for the video!

They need to market a version of this to the screen print industry. With the precision of a laser, I would expect multi color would be a breeze with a laser based system. They will need more mesh options though.

thanks for doing this video. It's really neat to see this come to market.... however, XTOOL as far as I can tell doesn't sell the screens yet. So If I'm not mistaken, at the moment you have to buy the kit for $250 and only get 3 screens. I sure hope they sell the screens soon. I'm truly interested in this for sure!! Have they said anything to you about when the screens will be available??

Hey Steve, I know at the beginning of the video you said working with the basic to do a signal color but then you used the bracket that comes with the multi-color kit. I bought the basic but now I would like to due multi-color. Do you think a jig could be made to fit the S1? xTool goes round and round with me about you need to buy the multi-color printer to use those! WHY! I have multi screens but I can't line them up the same every time. Maybe you could send me the measurements of the S1 tool to hold the frame so I can try to build something like it. I like the video and that you take it nice and slow.

How did you get the bar that hooks to the D1 at 6:30 in the video? I didn't get one with my screen printer and can't find this to buy anywhere. Would you be willing to share the measurements of that bar so I can 3D print one if I can't buy it anywhere?

Okey,
But if we want to use our own lasers
Can we use normal polyster mesh or we have to buy some specific mesh or some metal mesh ..
Please reply soon with details
Thanks i advance

I can’t find the price of extra materials like screens….don’t know where I can find that? I’d like to know how much I’ll be spending on supplies before purchasing

I have the extension on my D1 pro, so will the holding bracket fit across the back feet instead of on the side?

It looks like the screens going back in the frame does not get it as tight is that safe to say once its out of the frame its hard to re use the screens?

I’m using the recommended setting for my 5 w d1 pro laser but my screens still won’t burn thru perfect in one burn. Is there something I can do do make it burn in one go? Up the power?

I think a hobbyist might find this useful, but any large quantities.. There are just too many limitations.. One size screen with a mesh count of 100? Ink in little jars? In the normal screen printing world there are countless options.. Different size screens, different mesh counts, specialty inks, ink that comes in quarts or gallons (economical).. I do like the idea of metal screen mesh for use with the laser. But for a small hobbyist this would work fine..
