For this video we went to Paris. Brenda joined us and we were craving onion soup the whole day. So we found a great restaurant with a cute waiter that served us amazing French onion soup. We also ate duck liver and chocolate mousse. On top of that we will show you Place du Tetre, the famous square in Montmartre with all the artists painting and drawing peoples portraits. We have a very similar artist place in Old Montreal, which is the closest to feeling like Europe in North America. Three French classics right there for sure, yum!

Hello Dennis and Brenda! The minute I heard you'd be having Onion Soup, I wondered how Dennis would survive, because there would be a lot of cheese on it for sure! Maybe Dennis and Tim need to do a home cooked-version one Tuesday. Then you can make a bowl for Dennis, either without cheese, or very little. I think it is not too hard. The complicated part is the beef broth, but these days you can get some good beef broth at the store if you do not want to make your own. Sending good wishes to all three of you, Brenda included!

🤔  the "oomph" as I understand it, is the kick you get out of, in that case, the alcohol in the soup, 😋 it's a kind of extra taste which elevates the food to another level ... kind of 🙄 ... something like that 🤡

I think that I‘ve never eaten onion soup even though I‘ve been to France soooo often 😳
