Cream Cheese Waffles || The Keto Kitchen

Low Carb & High Fat / Keto Cream Cheese Waffles.
I've never had a waffle maker before and this was one of the first times I used it. This recipe was lovely: super soft and it tasted just like pancakes but in waffle form! Not only that, but it's very filling - I had 1 for dinner and it was more than enough food for me! Super easy to make and super tasty!

INGREDIENTS:
- 113g (4oz) Cream Cheese, softened
- 4 Eggs
- 2 tsp Extract or Sugar Free Syrup (I used Smores by Jordan's Skinny Syrups)
- 2 tbsp Sweetener, granulated (I use Splenda, UK)
- 4 tbsp Coconut Flour
- 1 & 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- A dash of Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Butter, soft or melted
METHOD:
1. Combine cream cheese, eggs, extract/syrup, butter, sweetener and cinnamon until well combined.
2. Add baking powder and coconut flour, mix again until well combined.
NOTE: The matter may thicken too much if left to sit for more than a few minutes. If this happens, just add a splash of cream or almond milk and remix if it does!
3. Heat your waffle iron. Add a small amount of butter to the iron to prevent sticking.
4. Either follow your waffles instructions or cook for 3-5 minutes/until golden brown. (Mine take about 3 minutes)
