Will we ever be able to use Notion Calendar without using Google? I still use Google Calendar and while I see the benefit of having that and Notion databases in the same calendar, if someone wanted to completely move away from Google to Notion, limiting us to logging in via Google feels like a weird move. Again, I'm fine with it since Google is where I have all of my calendar events, but in the future it'd be nice to just not have to tie my Google account to Notion at all. Either way, feels like this is a big step in the right direction!

I love Notion so much, if a year ago you asked me if I would be this excited about calendar integrations, I wouldn’t have believed you, but I am really excited to hopefully connect Outlook and iCloud to Notion Cal at some point! The vibes are so on!

Looks cool, but has 3 drawbacks making it unsuitable for my needs:

1) No iCloud support (I can't sync my events)
2) No to do's (I can't easily manage my tasks)
3) No "birthdays" synced with contacts

For these reasons I still use Fantastical

Quick question:

I can sync from gCal -> Notion Calendar
I can sync from Notion database -> Notion calendar

But I can't seem to find out how to sync from gCal -> Notion database or from gCal -> Notion Calendar -> Notion Database. How do I do that?

Context: I want to schedule events in gCal and have a view in my notion database so that I can have filters. I'm scheduling and moving around working-shifts. So far I use Zapier but I'd rather use something native.

Can you already tell when the community will be able to sync Notion Calendar with iOS / Apple Calendar? As an Apple user this would be way more efficient and practical cause I don't use Google Calendar at all. Greetings from Germany.

Idk why, but when I add a link from notion in notion calendar, the link opens first in the browser and then notion app. Is it possible that opens directly to the notion app instead of browser and then notion app ?

It would be actually useful if status changes were accessible on the calendar to that completed tasks show as completed from the calendar.
