Great video. One thing I wanted to address however about the stair bunker. There is a way to unseal the bunker from the outside if you get locked out. What you need to do, is instead of a full wall on the side of the square that leads to the inside of the bunker, have 2 half walls there instead, this will allow you to place a twig triangle frame from the outside to the space inside, and if you then climb into the sealed top part of the bunker you can open it with a triangle twig frame.

Dude this is awesome. I have this super strong cave base loaded with loot but I'm bored sitting in there so I built this near some monuments and I've been sitting in the bunker area and I've got Rust on in the background while I do stuff on PC. I hear shotguns, I alt tab back in and grab their shit. So good.

I find that a flame turret will also work well instead of 3 shotgun traps. It breaks the twig as soon as it starts flaming

I’m confused. If you get stuck outside won’t you only be able to fix that once? If you were out farming would you have to leave it open to get in the next time? Or what

My question is how do you get underneath the roof triangles in the front to replace the shot gun traps and refill the ammo ?

I just tride it on a server they placed a floor over the shoot to keep the shotgun traps from getting them any way to stop that

All they have to do is 4 rocket the outside wall with the roof trap and go through the door you placed to access the falling loot.

It sucks that they patched the stairs, effectively ruining the bunker aspect of this trap base.
Twas a 200iq design. But the "loot chute/shoot" part still works fine and is perfect for busy roads and low tier monuments.

You've probably already figured this out but people can go on the other roof and take the ammo out of the shotgun traps making the 1st defense useless.

i do think it’s a good concept but only problem is if someone tried gojng deep on you without you in the base it closes and the only way to get back in is respawn. that’s why having this as a main base probably wouldn’t be for the best. but would be fun to use near monuments
