This video is really good.
What about 2H-pyrrole, it is not aromatic to begin with, and protonation therefore causes no problem regarding aromaticity. Should it have the same basicity of pyridine ? Since the unshared pair of electron in sp2 orbitals.

Thanks! There might be another reason pyrrole isn't as basic. It might be because the lone pair is actually delocalized in the ring and not readily available.

one question ? is anniline more basic than pyrrole?
i think so because pyrrole looses aromaticity but anniline has more extended resonance [loss in aromaticity should be more dominating thus making pyrrole v weak base (weaker than anniline)]

Why is pyridine has A double bonds between carbon and
nitrogen and the pyrrole has A single bonds between carbon and nitrogen?

If only hybridization is considered, an imine and pyridine should present similar basicity.
