Great torture tests—ones that mimic extreme versions of everyday damage an iPad might encounter. By and large most of my Apple devices, both iPads and iPhones have proved quite durable, even surviving drops onto carpeted floors. In general, however, I take really good care of my stuff, so I was disappointed to see a several-inch-long surface scratch on my six-month old iPad mini 6, especially since I have NO Idea what I might have done to scratch it. I had been thinking I’d trapped a grain of sand underneath a microfiber cloth when cleaning it but after watching your video, I’m thinking that’s unlikely. Oh, well… I may never figure that out. Thanks for the video, as always.

I have the same IPad Air and I placed it on top of my van and then drove off forgetting i put it there. I didn’t realise until it came off the top of the van at 40mph smashing to the pavement. Ok it was in a cheap case off Amazon but it survived with no marks to the screen or the case. The only damage it did receive was a chip out of the power button that stopped the finger print reader working. So I was so grateful for that

I appreciate the effort for you to go out and try new things... this was a great video. It just seems like the tone of the video doesn't match up with the rest of your channel. I was thinking maybe you could give us more behind the scenes; such as when you connect to your file server, your network setup, maybe do a video on this you like about Windows that you can't get on Macs. It's totally cool if you want to make more "real life" videos because I'm down to watch your videos because I know how much effort it takes to come up with ideas that can educate and entertain others. Just my thoughts. Have an excellent week.

What the heck?! What were you thinking? Anybody that abuses their iPad like that doesn’t deserve one! 😂 I still have the original iPad that has been thru 3 grandchildren and it still works great, a few dings and bumps, but still charges and holds the charge. Fun video though!

Ok fine..that was a bunch of sarcasm, but I honestly cringed in several parts of this video. Not because it’s not a great video to see what these things can take, but because I could see me accidentally dropping my iPad. And replacing a 6 digit iPad isn’t in my list of favorite things to do.
