I’m getting interest in anamorphic capture, and one thing I would really appreciate if @Sony could do it, is bring open gate recording to the FX3. Even if it’s only at 24/25 fps. That would be of great help to get more vertical content.

How do you find the low light capabilities of the FX30? I'm going to build a camera rig for scuba diving and the only thing holding me back is the potential struggle with noise. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏼

Love Mark Bone, Just wish in the future Sony somehow put's Electronic ND's in the FX3II, only thing holding me back at the moment. I had it and sold it for more than I paid for it during the chip shortage and got the A7IV to hold me over, unfortunately that camera over heats like crazy but I can "deal" with it. Sony needs to also put false colors, shutter angle and or waveforms in the next "cinema" line FX's if you really want to call it a a Cinema line camera.

My shutter speed value is displayed in seconds instead of fractions. How do I change it to fractions like 1/50

Since the FX30 doesn't have 24p, if I shoot in 24p with my main camera (FX6), what is the best way to conform 23.976 to 24?
Should I just use "Interpret footage" in Premiere or will that create problems?

See this is cool and all but how about a firmware update for people who spent $6500 on the Sony A1, the supposed “flagship”. 8k 60p would be nice now that nikon of all companies put that in their z9. Fucking nikon. Even with a record limit, I’ll take that.
