Okayyy, the movie name is Love in the big city
This particular scene comes after the guy was at a bar the previous day and was seen kissing one of the guys they travelled with at the beginning of the movie. So she comes in to their class room and basically does that so that he does not have to feel alone or bad about what the rumors are of him being gay.
They go for drinks together after a while when the students also say that her boobs were exposed on the internet and she stands at the front of the class after a test to clear the allegation as a fuck you all move.

Point is and what the movie in general is about, is that the two of them move in together at 20 and we get to see their lives all the way to 33.
They made rules that would govern their stay together.
They learn a lot while staying together, he was never comfortable talking about him being gay and I think that had a lot to teach him because he realized that it was never sth to be so held up about. As roommates, they never told anyone besides themselves that they shared her house/a house.
One thing that really stands out from their friendship is how the depiction is, they never had perfect lives and she never really had a man which bothered her. She wanted love and always welcomed all man she felt a connection with which always led to her having a heart break.
This one time after school, I think that was around 27, she met a man who did not believe that the roommate was gay when he found out by mistake that they live together, he beat her up and made her choose between him and her gay best friend for which she chose her best friend but the best friend got pissed because she had to mention the fact that he was gay when her boyfriend found out they stayed together and he was not happy with that because he didn’t want people to know and he was never comfortable talking about it with others.
The movie also depicts the aspect of loving each other as friends without any expectations or pressure. They had ups and downs just like any normal friendship but their friendship stood all tests.
Also she had an abortion at some point because she fought with a guy she thought liked her and wanted to unwind, however when she called her roommate/gay friend, he was also busy dealing with the fact that he was nervous about a lover who he had to meet at his campus and because of that, he never made it to her at the bar, she ended up in bed with some guy and ended up pregnant but they saw that through together.
She got married at the end and he sang at their wedding. He finally told his mom he was gay and briefly moved back into his mother’s house before moving back into their house after she got married.
The movie is a 7/10, mainly because there is a lot to learn atleast on my end that’s how it played out;
1. That even if you have a friend by your side, it does not mean that your life and destiny is not up to you.
2. As much as people may understand what you are going through like the gay roommate who got a lover that understood he never wanted to come out, they will still move on and find their path because they can’t keep holding onto you if they feel it’s a move forward. They will not wait on you forever. Anyway some will, but most won’t and that’s okay. Everyone is allowed to do what they want.
3. You can’t be scared of many things because time moves, heals and tells a story.
I could go on and on but the movie is good.
4. It definitely gets better and you get to understand things
5. Choose yourself and give yourself time
6. Be kind. Because had she not been kind to him, they would never have become as close.
7. Be real to yourself. She came to terms of the person she really was and it changed her perspective on so much and it kept her locked in
8. Success comes and looks different for everyone. Some will be slightly ahead of you or even further. What matters is what you choose to keep doing inorder for you to be where you desire.

I always feel some kind of way when they turn a really good series into a movie. It's condensed from 8 hours to 2 hours where a lot of details will be left out.
