Love these ranking videos and updates from plant hauls. We can all learn from each other. I made friends with plant shop owner. I sell him my babies. It makes it fun.

Hi! Micans tip: the one that isnโ€™t growing muchโ€ฆ repot into something plastic with soil or glass with pon. They are super thirsty and anything with clay dries out too quickly. Love your collection!

Split leaf philodendron is the last species of philodendron I bought. I intend to tie it up to a fence post like I do with monstera so it doesn't grow out of control. I have plenty of velcro tape. Just regular velcro they had in Lowe's. This way I intend to keep it more vertical and save some space.

Seen thar selloum in tropical outdoor gardens where it looks good, but I agree, itโ€™s a big sprawling plant for your home, and I would not have the space. Love my squamiferum ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š

If you want real faun pot some of green heart leaf, some Brasil, and some lemon lime together. I filled in empty pot with all three. The leaves are so fun to watch. Then the pot in summer can't wait.

the selloum looks like itโ€™s craving light i completely agree with you! how close to a window or grow light do you have it? donโ€™t wanna burn it but she canโ€™t take some LIGHT

I have always loved my jungle boogie. But when I went to purchase mine...it was actually called a philodendron tiger tooth (hence the jagged shaped leaves)

I have what I jokingly call a "sibling selloum" It's 30-31 years old now, had it literally my entire life. It's been in all sorts of lighting and it's never seemed to skip a beat. It's in an east facing window currently and loving life. The issue you're having doesn't seem like its a light issue, but a watering issue IMO. I also tied the leaves to a pole and its standing tall. ( almost 5'ish ) so its more vertical and taking up less of a radius. Give it a better watering routine ( I don't let it dry out completely, maybe 3/4 the way dry ) and hit it with some good fertilizer, it'll bounce back with vigor in no time! It just may become your favorite lol They're super resilient plants. Good luck!

I found your videos through bob cee actually! Not enough ppl talk about it! It's such an easy grower for me as well! My top three would also be Bob cee, jerry Horne, and mayoi, with camposportaonum and billietiae as honorable mentions

The selloum is actually not a philodendron; it's a thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum! It's been on my wishlist for a good minute now, but I just have no space for one!

Hello there, just came across your Channel today and I enjoy your content. I know that I'm seeing this three months after but maybe your plants can benefit from Superthrive plant vitamins. I had a few plants that were just stagnant and after applying the Superthrive they really took off. So I water all my plants with it and I am so happy with the growth and well being of my plants. Blessings.

Hi! I have just recently โ€œmetโ€ you and after this clip, I decided to subscribe. I absolutely love philodendrons and have 13 of your 17, and about 5 other types. I have too many questions to put down here! I wish we could have tea together and chat ๐Ÿ˜Š!
My experience with my small selloums is frustrating bc their leaves keep turning yellow and dying. However, I have a huge one thatโ€™s about 35-40 years old, and sheโ€™s doing well. Iโ€™m hoping the smaller ones, three of them -same size as yours- will catch up. I really love them.
One general observationโ€ฆ my heart leaf philodendron and Brasil donโ€™t look nearly as beautiful and vibrant as yours; their leaves are much smaller. My Micans are mostly bald on top and the leaves on the vines are small. The leaves first turn a beautiful orange - then fall off.
๐Ÿ˜ฉ
Your collection is absolutely gorgeous and I wish I knew what I need to do to make my collection look like yours. Congratulations!!!๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I figured if I find the right balance between chunky mix and water retention philodendron has better chance. For me the easiest way to achieve this is mixing bark with Miracle-Gro where bark takes most of the space and Miracle-Gro fills the gaps in between. I don't have the exact proportion because I do it by feel but it works well. Than I use some liquid fertilizer whenever the force tells me to.

I have the crispy tips issue with the fuzzy petiole. Have you figured out how to work with this plant?

ะะฒั‚ะพั€

My Top is my ROF - not sure if itโ€™s light dependent but mine is a Florida patio plant getting indirect sun, itโ€™s well variegated and when the leaves harden the variegation pops out more instead of disappearing. Do you supplement indoor light w any grow lights? Could help ?

My bottom is fuzzy petiole. I bought it v young looks nicer small in my opinion the leaves get more plain as they grow and not as fuzzy as I hoped!
I feel catfished/plantfished.
