As a classical pianist, having studied since age 4, (now nearly 86) my goals are clear and before me every day. My life has been rich in constant challenge and immensely satisfying. I been blessed constantly with wonderful teaching experiences, as well supportive wife and children, grandchildren, mand great grandchildren. I bless my parents who pointed me in the way to grow and live, and my God, whom I believe watches over me because of my simple trust!

Dan I really appreciate the fact you don't stuff your videos with mid-sentence ad breaks every 5 minutes like most other self improvement channels. It makes the videos significantly more pleasant to watch and easy to stay focused on the topic being presented.

"There is no such thing as doing nothing with your life.

Only doing what you want to do or what others want you to do."

It's amazing just how many different parts of life this applies to

Excellent reminders and encouraging video as always, Dan. What stood out to me is “Don’t get trapped in client work. Don’t get trapped in one product. Keep solving problems as they arise in your life and business. Never stop growing and evolving.” Reading this quote will help keep me on the path of entrepreneurship.

One of the very few content creators I truly appreciate. Dan's not spouting bullshit to sell something. He talks when he has something valuable to say. Rare nowadays...

I'm so glad Proverbs and Ecclesiastes handle all that life is about, as well as to lead us into not leaving foolishly, but rather wisely, with plans, and without worry.

Robert Greene said
If you feel that your deficiencies are more than your strengths than it's best to stick to completing a project or two which will increase your confidence and then you can expand it. It's like a flower.

I just got laid off from my design job, and this is exactly how I felt for the past 5 or so years there after working almost 10. The people were great, and the hours were flexible, but the work was pretty subpar. I could feel myself stagnating. When I was making my show reel, I realized just how little spark there was from when I first started. I stopped experimenting, stopped looking at cool ways to do things, it was just rinse and repeat until ultimately the company couldn't pull in work any more. In a way, being cut is probably what needed to happen.

I remember asking my former boss when I joined where the company was ultimately headed, and when he mentioned that there weren't plans to expand their scope (we were a kind of jack-of-all-trades desing company), I had a feeling it wasn't going to lead me down the path I wanted. Luckily, I took some initiative an started working on what I really wanted to do a couple years ago, which is more in line with animation and drawing, so hopefully I can land something that I can grow in.

This is accurate. Live for yourself in a loving and considerate way. Other people want to use you to lift them up. Lift yourself up then bring them up if you want.

Dan is a prime example of practice makes “perfect”.

We all have the same hardware “outside of anomolies” but only those who continue to upgrade their software will live divine.

It's nice to see you again, Dan, after a 2-week absence. Thank you for the regular encouragement. I have taken the first step into the unknown to realize my vision. My first goal to achieve in my long journey to mastery is to make my First Dollar Online.

I have always been amazed at young men who have spent time in the army and have great problem solving abilities. Their formal training focused on teaching them to problem solve with what they had at hand. Something school should do.

You literally became a part of my walk meditation. I think I already listen to all of your content and keep listening over and over again to make me remind myself. Thank you for all your content Dan.

I just want to add: Our brain NEEDS time with doing nothing (boredom if you want to call it that way) - but with that I mean REALLY doing nothing, at least nothing you need to think about. Just "boring" tasks (washing the dishes, doing some repetitive work). As exactly in these times where the brain is not distracted it starts to get creative!
I have experienced this myself, that's why I know it is true. One year before going into art school I started doing a very repetitive job (as I needed the money and knew it was only for a year) and I tell you, my mind was never as creative again as in this time!
This always repetitive work gave my mind the freedom to being creative - as nothing distracted it and the brain wants to be excited and have something to do always. So it became creative itself. I had some of my most vivid ideas than.
for sure this was a time before social media, which made this even more impactful and even possible.
Would this be nowadays I am not sure if it had that much impact on my sadly...

So another thing for sure is: Get off social media as often as you can. Don't let it "distract" you - so your brain gets some time to breath and explore itself again.

This video stopped me in my tracks today and while I intellectually understand that AI cannot replace us, " Unless it is me with the vision, giving the AI direction to complete it, it will suck", made all the difference.
