Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
And tracks a black Porsche Carrera GT?

SpongeBob went from failing his driving test repeatedly to driving a Carrera GT around Nords. There's hope for us all.

Respect to the owner for tracking such a daunting/valuable car, I'd bet that was the coolest car on track that day😎

It's crazy to see how fast the revs drop when shifting between gears, I can only imagine how hard it must be to drive smoothly

It's insane how easy the car builds speeds. It's sounds like cruising around a nice road with some bends.

It's crazy how the car drops 4k revs after a second of clutch. A flywheel so light it makes the car pretty undrivable unless you're slamming gears.

A lot of the critics in the Comments offering (correct) advice are forgetting the difference between 'drive it like you stole it', 'drive it like you own it', and 'drive it like you can hit the RESET button when you screw things up'.

This guy loves cars. He owns a very precious dream car. He'll have seen everything that you've seen about performance driving over the years. He probably knows everything that you know and maybe even a little bit more. He's probably got more real driving experience than you.

Do you honestly think that he doesn't know what he could/should be doing to get the best out of this car? Of course he bloody does. But he's also the car's owner, and that makes things entirely different. ENTIRELY.

Think about it: in the real world, in a car like this, one hard lap could easily land you with a £50, 000 bill (special track-day insurance cover + 4 trashed tyres, brakes, clutch/transmission, a MAJOR service, and the expense of cleaning those nasty 💩stains off the driver's seat).

And that modest £50, 000 donation to the nearest paper shredder in exchange for a few poxy YouTube Views from bored teenagers is assuming that things have gone relatively well.

Push really hard and you could destroy the car's gearbox [price unknown], blow a £160, 000 engine, or smack your £1, 000, 000+ machine into a barrier.

Yeah. Smash that clutch pedal. Blip that throttle. Snick those gears in. But be ready to sell your house, wife and kids to pay for looking cool on another one of those YouTube 'fail' videos.

Even though you can tell the car isn't at it's limit it still looks absolutely terrifying to drive. Props to the owner.

The long gearing and the speedometer scale make it look and sound so slow until you look at the actual numbers. O.O Amazing car and surprised at how much the owner is actually pushing for his first time out with this car.

The owner is an absolute LEGEND. Nothing but love and respect to an enthusiast who would share that majestic beast with the world in such a high risk manner. I'm extremely grateful that everything went smoothly as we need all the CGTs accounted for. There will never be another car quite like this one!

The weight of the owners balls helped massively with the down force. No but seriously massive respect to the owner for tracking this thing. Not many people drive these things, let alone track them, let alone track them at the 'ring. He did justice driving that too. SpongeBob a proper mad lad for doing this.

It is so refreshing to see actual footage of this car in its natural habitat and not just runway racing or stories about how it is to drive. My hat's off to the owner for driving the car how it was meant to be. Thank you so much!

By far the greatest car I have driven. I had it up at 280km/h and the sound was unbelievable. Have had a lot of Porsches but this is in a classs by itself. The car feels alive. Of course there are faster cars now, but nothing that feels so communicative.

I’m surprised at how fast the engine falls down in revs as soon as he’s off the gas and on the clutch, no wonder that car has a reputation as a difficult car to drive, kudos to the driver to get it on the track on such a crowded day.

Awesome! The V10 GT is one of my dream cars. So thrilled for you and your speedy recovery. Thanks for giving this Canadian your advice for my trip to Apex in July. I emailed them as you suggested and got the auto-response from Dyana. Looking forward to their full reply soon. Cheers!

Brilliant video. He obviously knows the track pretty well because of his lines and braking points. Kudos to him for tracking this amazing car!

Damn, how quick the engine revs down! Very light crank and flywheel
