Also, Belichick didn't want to go to Dallas because he wouldn't have been the one "buying the groceries" and would have had JJ micromanaging him. JJ can't deal with a coach with a spine, that's how come McCarthy is there. But as owner of the team, as the employer, he doesn't have to pay anyone.
