Ever since 1996 the Cowboys have been one of the very worst teams in NFL history. The Houston Texans came into existence in 2002 and even they have more playoff wins than do the Cowboys from 1996. And in 2020 the NFC East was THE very worst division in NFL history as NO team in the division even had a winning record. And the Cowboys could still only finish 3rd.
