RULES:
The object of the game is to have the most experience. During setup, give each player $100. Mix up and put the experience chips face-down on the board. The player with the most student load debt goes first, then play proceeds clockwise. Properties have been replaced with destinations that you discover by purchasing them. You don’t have to discover a property if you don’t want to. If you don’t, your turn ends and destination remains undiscovered. There are no auctions.

There are no houses or hotels, instead, when you collect a complete color set, that set is worth more points at the end. When you land on a destination that another player discovered, you pay them the visitation cost listed on the card then each player takes 1 experience chip from the center pile. You are allowed to secretly look at your own experience chips but you should keep the hidden from others. If you can’t afford the visit cost of a destination then nothing happens and no player collects experience chips.

When you land on or pass GO, collect $20 from the bank. If you land on a bike share space, you may move to any space on the board. Pay the bank $10 for each bike space you pass, including the one you started on. If you pass Go while doing this, you do not collect $20. While you are in jail, you can still collect money from visitors to your discovered destinations, however you may not collet experience chips. The cost to get out of jail is $15. Once you get out of jail, no matter how, you collect 1 experience chip.

You can buy, trade, or swap destinations with other players like normal but you may not buy, trade, or swell experience chips. If you can’t afford a chance or community chest fee and have no destinations to sell, after paying all you have, you end your turn and nothing else happens. The game ends when all the destinations have been discovered, then all the players add up all their experience from their discovered destinations and experience chips and the player with the most, wins. If there is a tie, then the tied player with the most money wins.

Finally, a game that realizes how unrealistic the dream of home ownership has become

this really feels like millennial monopoly. only getting paid 20 dollars and have to play 45 dollars just to visit, seems authentic to me

I "discovered" my parents' basement after paying 10 bucks for the right to descend the stairs. Also, my friend would not let me sit on his couch until I paid him $10.

Amazing: they somehow found a way to make Monopoly EVEN MORE mean-spirited.

Just remember, you can also end the game if ALL experience chips have been taken. It does not have to be all of the destinations taken up.

You should cover The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine, it’s very fun and I think it should get more exposure in the card game community

You are not eliminated from the game, but continue your turn as normal.

0:26 I can't believe he kept a straight face there. It must have taken multiple attempts.
Edit: The timestamp I was referring to is here: 0:22

But what if two tied players have the same amount of cash?

You should cover either Monopoly Animal Crossing New Horizons edition or Plague Inc. The Board Game, seems like when I explain the rules for these games people always have a hard time getting what I just said

I really hope this game doesn’t make the comments into a generational war. If I want that, I’d go to Facebook.
