ELDEN RING: How to get Great Jar's Arsenal(VER 1.08).

I personally find it way easier to just run inside the coliseum for 30 seconds until the second golem de-aggros and you don’t have to kill any or worry about attacks. Might not even need to do that bcuz I’m not positive he can reach the arena

July 10th still works the best tip I can give is keep crouch walking forward on the right edge of the rock. Go a bit to the left to trigger the npc to jump over and then go right back to the edge all while crouch walking straight into the rock. Did this method after constantly falling with the npc!

Thanks! I confirm it still works, I made the mistake of not using a shield for my 3 first attempts and they would not attack me and roll, then I tested with the shield and I succeeded in my first try

I don't ever comment, but this is the only thing that's worked. Well played, brotha! I just hid behind the ledge you did first for all 3 and crouched. Never even got hit once. I was about to give up before this video. Some of the things they have you do in this game honestly *deserve* to get cheesed, they're so ridiculous. Thanks again!

Tip: Don’t waste time fighting the last sniper/archer. Run behind talking rock, quit game, reload, and the agro will be gone. Also, it took me only three tries because I ended up with sorcerers and guys with other little magic spells (have to get somewhat lucky on the spawns).

I've been trying this cheese on offline with mixed results.
The first duelist uses a giant mace and big golden glowy weapon skills, and is perfectly happy to jump to his death when I use the tree method.
The second duelist has a dagger and buckler, and will try to strafe around me at a distance, refusing to go near a lethal fall in most situations...unless I fall off the cliff myself, in which case she'll gleefully jump off after me. (Hey, all the cool kids are doing it!)
The third duelist uses a thrusting sword and sorcery. His preferred method of combat is stabbing repeatedly until he knocks ME off the cliff.

So, Strength/Faith build BELIEVES IN HIMSELF, but isn't very smart.
Dexterity build understands the danger of gravity, and is careful with her footing.
Intelligence build uses his big brain to realize he can use gravity to his advantage.

And then there's me, the unfocused build with a faith bias, who is too dumb to use a cheese strat properly.

After failing so many times, I got some inspiration to try this method. I must say, executing this cheese is not as easy as it looks. When I would go to the left and take cover behind the rock, the NPC duelists were getting stuck running into the wall, and the only way to get them to move would be to come out from hiding, and then they would kill me. I had much better results going to the other side and using the branch, but I did not do it exactly as it is shown here. I hid behind the branch, then jumped over to show myself, then took cover behind the branch again to get the NPC duelists to come after me and jump over the ledge and die. That worked for 2 of them. For the third, I got lucky being able to get three heavy attacks and then take cover behind the branch, then jump back over as this particular duelist telegraphed their movements. TLDR; I got lucky killing one of them legitimately while I baited the other 2 to jump to their death.

Thanks for showing the 2 methods. I used the crouching behind the rocks and it worked. I tried the way we are supposed to but kept getting one shot by one of the summons.

You really don’t have to kill the second archer when using the rock method. At lvl 40 that was the biggest pain when running back. He will forget about u and can’t hit u on the rock. Fyi.

my recommendation if they're a mage, use a long reaching weapon, i used the dragon halberd +5, get close i use my ash of war to add lightning to my poker, try attacking and my L1 knocks them out, keep it up till they franticly roll to get stamina back

As for 10/3/2020 the first method worked for me the first time.
If the AI gets dumb and stuck in a loop tease it abit and it will fall off.
Tho watch out for any hits while falling, the sorcerer hit me with his sword while falling off, so you may want to put on your heaviest armour and turtle in the corner
