2013 IBFRA Conference Summary – 'Boreal Forests at Risk: From Boreal Science to Public Policy'

The 16th international conference of the International Boreal Forest Research Association (IBFRA) was held October 6-10, 2013 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The conference themes was "Boreal Forests at Risk: From Boreal Science to Public Policy". In tis video, Werner Kurz and Tony Lemprière present a synthesis of the conference.

IBFRA was formed in 1991 with the mission to " promote and co-ordinate research to increase the understanding of the role of the circumpolar boreal forest in the global environment and the effects of environmental change upon that role."
