Path of Exile 2 has quite some Problems that suck the fun out of the game. Starting at Armor, going over Accuracy Rating, and don't get me started on the Endgame Randomisation of Fortresses. That's not everything though! Let's tackle some of the issues plaguing Path of Exile 2 right now.

0:00 Problem 1
1:19 Problem 2
2:43 Problem 3
4:30 Problem 4
6:27 Problem 5
9:37 Problem 6

Having accuracy for mele skills and then no accuracy for mage spells is the dumbest shit ever.

Worst right now: when mapping in a bossmap, getting killed by random white mobs insta...

Sockets being one and done needs to be changed. Your reluctant to swap any gear once you set the resistances into the sockets because a new piece changes up everything. (Edit; yes, I mean replacing a socketed rune with a new one, and the one that got replaced disappears)

You forgot. Armor gives you Movement Speed penalty.
That sucks. But wait, there's more! In PoE 2 we have Dodge Roll that is base on MS! So the class that should be near enemy, has worst Dodge ability.
(Don't get me started on Archnemesis, having 80% mods that don't allow you to stay near enemy) .

Thank you for starting immediately into the content and keeping it brief per topic. Respect.

The thing i dont like about this game is the Uber Boss restrictions! It costs an arm and a leg to even get access to the boss and if you die its all lost!
I would prefer they added a checkpoint next to the boss somewhere! I mean, paying loads of your hard earned currency to just get 1 try without even having a chance to learn the fight, get used to it and finally kill the boss seems way too punishing!
Atleast let people do it on their first kill for crying out loud!

I just keep mumbling to myself: "Its an early access. Its an early access. Its an early access...."

Regarding the crafting part, there was once a Harvest league in PoE 1 where you could switch elemental resistances on gear or add/remove prefixes and suffixes based on their type. GGG removed all of that because 'players were reaching endgame too quickly and quitting the game. I never understood those motivations; for me, it was the best league ever. I had three characters above level 90 and engaged heavily with crafting, all without using the trade site for the first time.

Maps are incredibly painful. You die in a map, lose the map/waystone. If you're high enough level you lose xp. You lose the modifiers that were on the stage, and any that were placed on it via tablets. It's honestly a load of shit just how punishing GGG decided to make the game. It's aggravating, because they pushed it so far. A downside is fine, but it's like in the board room they couldn't decide on which punishment to use so they used all of them.

Shout out to dropping good loot but then dying and losing the loot because you were waiting to pick it up after the fight. Or killing a boss, the loot dropping, then dying to some random minion you didn't know was still alive, or a death effect, and losing the loot that way.

This game was built to give us the middle finger at every opportunity.

Can't forget the game requiring your utmost attention at all times because of these harsh death mechanics. I cannot count how many times I've looked away for a second and died. Or been focusing on an enemy only to not notice the thing beneath my feet that explodes and kills me in one shot. You know, assuming it was even visible with all my flame walls and other effects absolutely bombarding the screen every second.

God the game just feels so unfair, I'm starting to get annoyed that I feel so addicted to it.

Only SIX problems? Those are rookie numbers. I can rattle off at least 20 problems that suck the fun out of PoE2.

They should make Magic Find level based, each level we gain 1% magic find.
Once a Characters reaches level 100 they have 100% Magic Find.
It's also a incentive to continue leveling/playing a character.

Thats the biggest issue for me. Why do I have to struggle to play the game, in order to play the game? The game itself is a struggle, without there needing to be a struggle just to be able to play it. It feels like being a young guy interviewing for an entry level job. The employer says he's looking for experience. So how do you get experience, you ask? You need to get an entry level job... How do I get higher level waystones? You play higher level maps. How do you play higher level maps? You need to get higher level waystones... This game has hit the nail on the head in many ways, yet completely missed the mark in a few ways.

I hate it that nothing is "reliable" in this game. also you did not mention that casters are practically immune to chaos damage, and the fact that this game is practically single player because you CANT play it multiplayer due to many stupid reasons

I like the way you say "accuracy"

Spot on. I would add that you have to run failed maps again just to progress or avoid towers hitting that spot. Failing a map feels like your car is slowly rolling out if your driveway, then getting hit by a bus while an airplane is crashing in your house. And the insane amount of damage Burning Ground does in t15+

7:50 YES. Experimentation should never be penalized. Respecialization should be free. Moreover, Free Respecialization unlocks constant adaptability, and replayability. This is the kind of core ARPG feature you should access for free, not behind a gold wall.

Sorry but saying “no increase in rarity find” on merc felt fine is crazy. The drops in the game are absolute ass when I played without it, and the “increase rarity find” is the only bandaid that fixes it.

Losing 15% xp on death is a feels bad too. 😂 especially when death is literally unavoidable

I'm glad you brought up the Warrior accuracy issue because it's the first time I've heard it mentioned. Resolute Technique is a fine solution for builds that don't care about crits, but if you like to use Sunder, then you can't take it. In that case, you need to take a bunch of dex or you need to travel all the way to Unexpected Finesse which gives you accuracy based on strength. It's tough taking dex because you need so much strength for Giant's Blood, which feels mandatory because you need the shield to survive in late game and you need a 2 hander to do enough damage. Unexpected Finesse is great, but it takes forever to travel to it. So often times you spend a lot of the early to mid game missing attacks even when you're face to face with the mobs. It's a really bad experience for new Warriors to be constantly missing on an incredibly slow weapon. The Utzaal and Aggorat zones are an absolute nightmare for Warrior unless you have your accuracy issues solved.
