The correct cut is normally by pulling backward with a very light trickle of water to control dust and lubricate and cool the blade. Try it that way, and you'll see a very big difference with a more efficient cut. You may need to start over with a new blade after that cut.

Did that blade come with the tool? If so, maybe thats the problem

I snagged the Milwaukee fuel 7-9" grinder for half price at home Depot. $140 down from $280. Has some good cut depth and I've beat the piss out of it on a few occasions but it's not a wet saw. I think Perkins brother builders uses the $200 evolution 14" for relief cuts and they seem to have good luck with it.

how is the water getting to the blade do you have a pump in the bucket or does the saw do the pumping?

Ive used my craftsman circular with a concrete blade on a 50 year old slab and it did the trick. I ran my shop vac to help with dust and of course wore a respirator, safty goggles and ear protection. Its not something I would do every day but man mine worked so much better than that thing. It sounded way underpowered from the start

I've done it with a circular saw and a hose. Need a $60 blade but it works well. Make sure the saw is new and you'll live.

I have a 12 inch Vevor. The blade that comes is medium quality perhaps slightly lower than that. I bought $100 blade cut out 3 Egress windows in my foundation. Great saw, let it do the work and dont push it. Don’t plunge it. I used a 30 amp. No problems, great saw, but the pump is a little dinky i used a small pond pump i bought for $35. Perfect.

Once it popped the breaker it needed a 2o min break, so as long as it rests for 2/3 of the hour you work your all good 😂

Never go cheap on power tools unless it's Pittsburg lol

You pushed it instead of pulling it for a start! How about finding out how to use a tool before making a review and judgement? Those saws work just fine!

I've used a diamon blade on my circular saw to make that cut and I'd like to share this tip: Don't use a diamond blade on your circular saw to make that cut unless it's your absolute last resort. Next time I'll rent the right saw.

First pull your cut so your not sitting in your puddle of water also .That saw is for pavers, block and thiner material also the blade is the problem here it was pretty obvious.

You don’t cut forward, you have to cut backwards pulling the machine then you see a different results

You can use that saw for plenty of stuff, just not a solid concrete slab. You need a full size cut-off saw for that. Wrong tool for the job.

The blade must be the culprit.
Dull after 4'

The cutting power is on the blade. Cheap blades don't cut regardless on type of machine. Get top quality blade and it will cut it regardless. 😅😅😅😅

Top brand electric saws are junk too. Just not enough power
