First impressions of Copenhagen, Denmark.
We were pleasantly surprised by the number of tourist attractions and historical landmarks in Copenhagen.
From the world's oldest amusement park, Tivoli Garden, to the picturesque Nyhavn lined with colorful buildings and a beautiful canal.
If you are looking for things to do in Copenhagen, the city got something for everyone!
We also tried some traditional and famous Danish food such as Danish pastries, hot dogs, and smørrebrød (Danish open sandwich). Everything was delicious! We opt for more budget friendly places, rather than fancy restaurants because Denmark, especially Copenhagen is expensive!

It was my favorite building in the area seeing that Børsen has burnt down is an absolute tragedy. We have lost a piece of history that it will be impossible to get back.

I keep coming back to this video. Literally one of the most pleasent "foreigners in denmark" videos out there. I mean, as soon as i saw you playing diablo 2 on the train, i knew you'd be a cozy duo. I wish you guys would come back, i'd love to be a "not copenhagen" guide for you, if you come to one of the other big towns further in the country. It's great to see people, who aren't insanely rich or exagerrated giving our country some love.

If you're still in Denmark, you can also visit a Japanese cultural event tmrw here in Copenhagen called Sakura Festival over at Langelinie Park, which starts at 11am tomorrow. It is celebrated at this time every year.
I also recommend that you try out Shawarma Grill House in Copenhagen.

@4:13 fun fact Bakken which is an amusement park outside of Copenhagen opened in 1583 and it still has the original Rollercoaster.

A Dane here...from Copenhagen, I have never seen the toilet in the "Rundetårn" the round tower! Thanks for making me aware of this funny thing :)

Old trainstations were built incredibly big because of old steam locomotives. When they pull in and out, or just waited to go, they had to run with a full boiler so they could go at any time, meaning a huge amount of smoke would build up under the roof from the furnace.
So they built stations tall and with two roof sections, one higher than the other, and then have an opening between the two roof sections for smoke to escape. Without the tall sectioned structure, people would literally choke just waiting for the train, and would be like lighting a big campfire in your garage...

The locks on the bikes sits right on top of the back tire towards the saddle. But there is bikes in Copenhagen for everyone to use but they have a unique design so people can find them 🚲

Hey thank you for visiting our country. It is not mayo on the hotdog..but a special danish sauce, called remoulade. And again it is remoulade on the smørrebrød with roastbeef. Thanks for the video :)

Thanks for doing the right research I'm from Denmark and I can say you got everything right except the smørrebrød It's a fancy version of something called rye bread that children get in their packed lunches for school

It was also Christian IV that built the round tower (runde tårn) and “Børsen” the building that burned Down, and a castle called Christiansborg.
