23 yrs old: Started Heath Media, my marketing agency. I made $0 for the first 3 years.
26 yrs old: Went all in on building a personal brand within the marketing space. I passed $100k/year.
28 yrs old: My personal brand allowed me to attract the best talent in the world. Heath Media became an industry leading Meta ads agency, with an exceptional team and an excellent reputation. We crossed $1m/year.

Two points to consider before opting into these strategies.
1. CPA tend to increase compared to remarketing campaigns because you are now targeting cold audiences.
2. Ideally still we should exclude previous customers who completed a conversion because, that's the audience Meta would try to reach frequently. It does not have to be 180 days. Think of the product usage lifecycle and and create an audience of previous customers. If you want to cross-sell or up-sell [sell something for existing customers] use a catalogue campaign.

Very helpful! I did have a question about exclusions I was hoping you could answer...if you're retargeting your audience with a lead campaign, for a free workshop, would you exclude people who have already registered for that workshop, or just those who have attended the workshop, or neither?

First, thanks a lot for all the good content! One thing I am still wondering: if I have different products, like different food products, do I have to set up a new cold campaign and warm campaign structure for each product? Or do I group them somehow? Really couldn't find the answer to this anywhere. Would be happy to learn this. Thanks!

Great video, thanks!! One thing that confuses the hell out of me - do you apply the same retargeting audiences as exclusions to your cold campaign? If so, doesn't your argument for not adding exclusions apply to the entire concept of whether to have a separate retargeting campaign?

If Facebook already optimizes ad impressions based on # of times they've been to site, why not just run the cold campaign and allow it to retarget as it needs to? Isn't it a big assumption to think that the retargeting campaign is going to pick up on the lead exactly where the cold campaign left off? In other words, the cold campaign is working hard to get new leads, but the moment it gets a click it loses that lead, and we expect the retargeting campaign to follow up on it. But how can we be sure that it really does? Doesn't that click go from a hot new lead to just a tiny fish in the large pond that is your retargeting audience?

Hi, i got 2 question :
1. should i create a new adset in the already running campaign where I want to retarget or should i create a brand new campaign for the retarget ?
2. Lets say i have a running campaign with a video, if i want to create a new ad for same niche ( but other products ), should i create it in the same campaign ?

Hey Ben, fantastic video as usual. If you have the time, I'd apprecaite it so much if you could answer this question:

When advertising a high-ticket service with multiple month commitment on Meta, our current best practice is to retarget FB/IG engagers and website visitors within a 30-day span. Would you advise against that and recommend going with the longest time-span possible as you showcase in this video?

If you're retargetting a large audience you better put on a cost cap or you will blow through budget. Efficiency matters.
