Did you always wanna go to Germany but didn't wanna go by yourself or simply didn't know where to go exactly? Then come travel to Germany & Austria with me this fall, together with a local guide and a whole group of like-minded people! 🎉
On this 8-day trip, we’ll explore my beautiful hometown of Munich and visit King Ludwig’s fairytale castle Neuschwanstein before we take the train across the border to Austria. We’ll stay in Salzburg for a couple of days, which is not only the birthplace of Mozart but also the setting of The Sound of Music! (And yes, we’ll be going on a Sound of Music tour together!) From there, we’ll take the train down to the “City of Dreams” that is Vienna where we’ll be able to explore sights like Schönbrunn Palace, the Prater, and the majestic old town. Let’s enjoy some beautiful landscapes, castles, and German cuisine (including beer of course!) together this fall. I can’t wait to show you guys my home! 😊

Feli, I did Munich, Salzburg, Wien, and many other cities last year by car! Loved it and your itinerary looks perfect! Just a warning to anyone who signs up… if you don’t have a passport, get one ASAP. Mailing time to passport office is approximately 2 weeks and standard processing can take up to 13 weeks! Don’t delay!

I have been to Germany and Switzerland, but not Austria, where Arnold is from.

The difference between Germans and Austrians is the sense of humour.

My father was from Flensburg. My relatives from that area, including Ost-Preussen, all had fun together.

This will be a beautiful trip guys! I would participate, but… I‘m living already in Vienna 😅, so… I‘m already here and you’re welcome. Enjoy Vienna specially the Innere Stadt with the Hofburg, the Stephansdom and the Kärnter Straße, also Schönbrunn and maybe the Donauturm where you can visit the restaurant up in the high while the complete restaurant is turning (slowly) 360° while you are enjoy jour dinner, … and much more!

I've only been to Germany/Austria once (high school trip in 1968). Our trip ended up in Berlin (divided East/West at the time) the same week the Soviets took over Czechoslovakia. Waking up to the German military surrounding our hotel was quite an eye-opening experience. Considering coming with just to see how it's changed.

I wish I could go. Travelled to Germany a lot about 20 years ago & had an apartment in Renchen-Ulm for a while. I miss the atmosphere, the people, the food, the history.

Back in the early 80s I lived in Bamberg for 3 years. It’s a beautiful place. We also did a little traveling to Austria. It’s memories of a lifetime.

Beautiful tour. Neuschwanstein is so beautiful when you see it for real one literally feels like in a fairy tale. I hope you guys have great weather in Vienna, which makes it all the more beautiful.
