If I ask how old you are and you come back with a math problem, you and I cannot be friends.

Nah bro my head hurt from the very start. Math was never my strong suit and most of this I never had to use in real life.

The randomness of your videos and your personality is why you're definitely the best reaction channel on YouTube.

This video assumes you can trust your friends to accurately do math.

"When will I need this?", is asked because people don't realize that particular knowledge is not necessarily needed. It is the ability to think and to work problems out that becomes what you "use every day". It's like a weight lifter asking the same question. You probably won't use the abilities you gained in a gym. But probably everyday in day to day life. Peace.

At 18:50 the number should be 2156287. Can't believe he made an arithmetic error. lol. These are all easy to figure out once you replace the numbers with algebraic variables. ie. to square any two digit number ending in 5 and the first digit is represented by 'x', it comes to 100(x^2+x)+25. (x*x)+x is x*(x+1) multiply by 100 puts those digits in the thousand and hundred place and 25 are the 10 and 1 digits.

its a brain exercise, and helps train you with problem solving. not doing things like this is like always skipping leg day. leg day sucks, but you just got to do it.

#1 -- Entire equation cancels it self out and your just left with 3X = 24.
[[[X + 5] * 3] + 15] = Y. Find X, given Y = 24.
3X + 15 - 15 = 24
3X = 24
X = 8.

#2 -- I used to love this in school, Yes im a nerd. It can be taken beyond 2 digit numbers.
108 * 11 = 1188 108 * 10 = 1080 so it has to be two spaces to make it thousands.
1 _ _ 8 → from the original number, add the last number (8) to the rest of the numbers (10) = 18, put in the second middle slot.
1 _ 18 8 → add the first digit in the second middle number (18) to the second digit in the original number (108) = 1. drop that result in the first middle slot
1 1 18 8 → remove the first digit in the second middle number (18)
1 1 1 8 → 1118 is the answer

756 * 11 = 8136 → take first number and last number and seperate them by 2 spaces
7 _ _ 6 → from the original number, add the last number (6) to the rest of the numbers (75) = 81, put in the second middle slot.
7 _ 81 6 → add the first digit in the second middle number (81) to the second digit in the original number (756) = 13. drop that result in the first middle slot
7 13 81 6 → since 13 larger than 9 we have an extra step.
8 3 81 6 → remove the first digit in the second middle number (81)
8 3 1 6 → 8316 is the answer.

#3 -- basically same thing as the first one, an over complicated equation that just cancels it self out, leaving you with a much simpler equation to solve in your head.
[[[[X * 5] + 8] * 2] - 6] * 10 = Y. Find X, given Y = 2200. → Simplify [X * 5] to 5X
[[[5X + 8] * 2] - 6] * 10 = 2200 → Simplify [5X + 8] * 2 to 10X + 16
[[10X + 16] - 6] * 10 = 2200 → Simplify by multiply the entire left side of equation by 10, and remove * 10
100X + 160 - 60 = 2200 → Solve 160 - 60 to be 100.
100X + 100 = 2200 → At this level of simplicity we can see why he told us to minus 100, then divide by 100.
100X = 2100 → solve for X.
X = 21.

#4 - Didn't know this one :D

#5 - Not going to attempt explaining the Fibonacci Sequence and why this works.

#6 - Wait, I thought this was top 5, good thing its not a counting tricks video XD.
Anyway this could've been better explained, start with a six digit number (150002). minus 2 from that number then add two million and right the result down. That is your prediction. (2, 150, 000)
Have a friend write a number, then you right a number that will make his number + your number = 999, 999, OR (one million minus one). Have another friend write another six digit number, and do the same thing.

At this point, you know the last two sets are each (one million minus one) or totally (two million minus two)
so take your original number add 2 million to it then minus two. (150, 002 + 2, 000, 000) = 2, 150, 002 - 2 = 2, 150, 000)
They think your a wizard but its just forced math tricks.

The 1st one is a misdirect. Add 5 to your number, then multiply by 3. That means you added 15 to your original number, which you then subtracted. Since your original was also increased by 3x, dividing by 3 puts it back to the original.

Here's an easy one doing 9 x anyting say 9 * 2 hold up 10 fingers lower down your second finger you will have a 1 before and eight fingers after answer 18 works all the way through 10 another example hold up 10 fingers say 9 * 6 you will have five fingers before the lower one 4 after answer 54 give it a try quick and easy
