Lilee grew up with 15 other siblings, and was her mommas helper in her older years. She’s ready to have her own space to grow, to learn and to become the woman God created her to be. She probably wants her own peace and her own space to grow into her own. I TOTALLY agree with her. I was the same.

Kass isnt wrong.. it would be so hard to leave her luxurious room in the castle and on a student wage you'd have no choice but to downgrade. Your extremely lucky to have the parents you have to support you, not everyone is blessed with that. We as people can adapt to just the basics and still have the stability, security and a cozy feeling a home provides. Dont knock it till you give it a fair chance Lilee, your entering into the prime years of your life and its good to get out of your comfort zone.. that is how we learn the most. Youll always have your home with Mum and Dad ❤

Lilee knows what she wants. I lived with 40+ people on four continents before i turned 30, and i wouldn't change any of it. But the couple of times i lived alone were some of the best for my mental health (and getting my full deposit back after moveout)...

Lilee can get to know people at school, and choose to go to OTHER people's houses when she is invited.

She seems to enjoy stability, and likes herself enough to want to spend more time getting to know herself. That's wonderful.

When I went to PE college 42 years ago in the UK, we were allocated a room in hall usually shared (I shared with 2 others - one of whom I’m still in touch with;) and we had tiny single beds, a small wardrobe and chest of drawers (did they realise just how much kit PE students have??) and shared bathrooms (no showers!!!) between about 40 of us with wooden partitions between baths. We were good at lobbing soap and shampoo from cubicle to cubicle!!!

It wasn’t all bad by any means. The hall was a former girls’ boarding school built in the early 19th Century with beautiful grounds. It’s still there, the college is now the sports faculty of a nearby university and our wonderful hall, old people’s apartments.

They were happy days!!!! Enjoy your college days.

I felt the same way as LiLee. Having your own space to feel safe and secure to just fall apart and be yourself is so wonderful to have. Plus you don’t have to leave during school breaks and keep moving stuff in and out every year into different dorms. You can just have your place.

Lilee is growing up! For sure an apartment would be better for her so she can have her own space. Although it still might not be that much bigger, that’s just how life is. She is going to have to get used to the smaller space unless she stays home or pays the price of a bigger apartment. Regardless, she is already getting a HUGE help from her parents and I hope she realizes how much of a blessing that is.

I recently moved from a one bedroom apartment into a room in a house with 3 other girls to go back to college for the second time. Downgrading was hard. I've lived in rooms a lot before but for 5 years i was in a one bedroom apartment. For the last 2 years, I had my cat with me. I had to surrender my cat because I couldn't find an affordable place or anyone to rake my cat for me to go back to college. I am 27. I am doing veterinary assistant program.

It's nice that lilee has the support and help. I think being scared is a normal feeling for everyone. I also feel like lilee is wanting her own place but seems concered about costs for parents.

The college experience is so needed. If it doesnt go ok you can stop, take a break, and try again later.

HIGHLY recommend living on college campus. There are very few times in life when you can live with people your same age and at a similar stage in life. If you ask me the thing I miss the most about my 18-20s, it was constantly being around people my own age/ my friends and being able to walk like 5 minutes or across the hall to them. I know that dorms and college housing isn’t glamorous BUT the experience is SO WORTH IT!

LiLee is beyond blessed to have the parents she has!! She is fortunate to have parents that support her endeavors and are in a position to support her financially. I’m a full time college student and work part time. I’m from a low income family so I have had to support myself through college. It’s not always easy but it makes you appreciate how far you have come. Anyways, congrats to LiLee on this new chapter. God has a plan for her life and she will go
