Putin sayd at the beginning that the operation is limited on maximal one year, so what's the problem?

That's pretty clever.
The move is to reinforce peace talks. Now try to allege Russia on any more truce violations.

Russia came, wiped out Isis and Jihads, Russia leaves, job done. UK and U.S should learn from them.

He keeps his naval and air base, by establishing an Alawite state for President Bashar al-Assad in Syria's coastal province of Latakia. A rump state for Alawites is good news for Kurds.

I don't wanna sound like a smartass but I thought this would happen. Putin successfully built a military base, in the country of his last ally in the middle east. At the same time he completely distracted the World from the ongoing war in Ukraine. As well as giving the Air Force of Russia valuable experience of flying in the desert. Also probably creating some anger towards Russia in Syria. This may lead to future Russian conflict with groups in the region, again furthering the expansion and fighting experience of the Russia's armed forces.
Although maybe Putin isn't as Insidious as I think he is and without Russia's only foreign military base, the Russian people would stop thinking about war and the idea of the greatly expanding Russian Empire, and focus their frustrations on the fact that 40 percent of Russians don't have running water or electricity, that the Gov't is openly corrupt, Russia's major problem of alcoholism and heroin use, the constant propaganda that is their Media, and that the average life expectancy in Russia is 64 years old.
