I have more respect for Colin for not taking the shot, than taking the shot. Shows true woodsmanship.

Right on Colin for sticking to your max shooting distance. It was difficult not to shoot. Good content.

Colin is a badass for staying strong on his morals. Most guys would have flung that arrow. Good on him.

You always hear the story of the big one that got away. If you didn't get it all on video, people would of thought you were exaggerating when you tell the story . Good stuff guys !

Absolutely beautiful muley. Great job to Colin for the call and I hope he gets another chance for his discipline

That adrenaline dump Colin was having has kept me at this for 46 years, and to this day i still get it. Wish Colin was a regular, he cracks me the hell up

As a bow hunter we shoot the distance we are comfortable with nothing more. I commend colin for not shooting past his comfort zone.

I applaud Colin for sticking to his confident distance. It’s hard to stick to your max distance. Last year was my first season with a bow and I told myself I would take the first 6 point or larger buck or the first doe I had at 25 yards or less. I only got to draw once on a doe all season … she was right at 25 but I couldn’t get a clean shot so I held off. Waiting for October 1 to try again

7 hrs and 45 mins and I'll be in the elk woods! Haven't been this excited for hunting season in a long time. Thanks for the season opening vids to get me even more pumped

It really is good to have examples like this, you really should know your limits and stick to them. I am finally taking my recurve (instinctive shooter) out this year for the first time bow hunting on whitetail and my limit is 10 yards. Inside that I can stack arrows, outside of that I am just not consistent enough to be willing to risk it on a deer yet. I'm sure I will find myself in this same sort of scenario in a couple weeks and this is definitely great inspiration to stick to my limits and just be glad to be getting experience on deer this close. There is always another deer, another opportunity, and another season. Good work guys and much respect Colin and Rich as well, can't forget you were at full draw and passed up on bad shot opportunities!

I got to say Collin has some good friends, I’d be in my brothers ear the whole time. Sometimes you just gotta send it

Colin, you did the right thing man. 40 yds and under. You would have felt worse if you would have pushed a shot you weren't comfortable with and injured that giant muley. KUDOS MAN!
