Miele now has a compact laundry set that is priced similarly to the Bosch and Electrolux units.
It has Miele's honeycomb drum, which is perforated so your clothes never touch the drum of the washer, reducing wear.

The washer spins at 1600 RPM, much faster than other units. This helps pre-dry clothes.

Miele also has active leak protection. There's a sensor inside that detects leaks as soon as they happen and shuts off the pump. This is important because you may be placing it in a closet or somewhere other than a basement or laundry room.

It runs on 110V not the more common 220V which means you can place it anywhere, like in a bedroom or a kitchen.

It has plenty of wash and dry cycles to care for your clothes with custom settings for different fabrics, even silk.

The dryer runs on a heat pump. This means that it uses a compressor to recycle the air in your dryer to condense the moisture without a vent - another innovation that makes it convenient to place anywhere.

No venting required.
