Got the c40 a while ago just because of curiosity. Great controller but it feels much more plasticky than the Raiju Ultimate. The triggers on Raiju feel waaay more expensive than the ones on C40. The advantage that the c40 has is the pressure sensitivity customization on the pc software. Its very annoying to have to use the pc to do that though as on the Raiju Ultimate its right there in your phone.
Also the Usb dongle provided by Astro makes sure you wont have any lagg problems or drift issues, whilst with Raiju youll need to clear your desk from other 2.4 ghz signals that may interfere with the controller communicating with your ps4 pro. Using 5ghz wifi signals erases all the problems that may happen.
I prefer the Raiju because it feels way more better to hold and it has 4 extra customizable buttons but the customization and pc pressure software has a clear advantage over the Raiju, especially when playing online games like COD or other competitive games.
To get both controllers youll need to lash out as much as with a ps4 pro, but if you got the cash its really worth getting both for different games. The raiju is great with everything else you might want to play, especially with Rpgs like with the witcher 3, where you can customize the silver and steel swords to M1 and M2 instead of using the d pad for example. Anyway, Cheers and another great review done Mr. Prawn!

For little hands and shooters, wich one is better? And with less stick drift? Also thanks for the vid! 💕

How does the tenilse strength on the thumbsticks compare to the regular DS4? Had the nacon revolution unlimited but I couldn't get used to it. Sticks had very little resistance and ended up selling it and returning to the DS4.

Hi prawn, nice vid m8😁!

I don't know if I i told u this before but I got the astro a50 gen 4s and yeah it's amazing, I haven't experienced any issues with them so everything seems settles with Astros firmwire atm( something good to know since people used ask u slot about this headset) anyways just wanted too say that ur videos and ur responses help me make my best and precise decisions and I am very thankful for that❤️

Thanks for the video mate, trying to make this exact decision.. leaning more toward the Raiju, although there seems to be a lot of talk about latency and stick drift when wireless with the raiju, did you notice this?

Would one ever be able to use the astro c40 joysticks in that "raised position" that you showed off at the 12:50 mark? Is that maybe just part of the removal mechanism or do you actually think its designed to be played with in that state?

I tossed and turnd between these 2 controllers..i ended up buying the astro c40 cause i herd the razor had drift stick issues.6 months with the astro c40 and it had pretty bad stick drift..the grip is a speacil paint that has worn off..and the red on the x and square buttons has also worn off..which is a shame because it feels really nice to use and when it was functioning at 100 percent it was awsome.but they dont last.im on my 2nd one now as it was free under warranty.anybody used both ? What one is best ?

the 4 buttons on Astro c40 is way to sharp the 4 buttons are the typycally ABXY on the x box. no symbols for that on my keyboard :) or the buttons may be a little to hi in hight as buttons (anyway its a problem), try glide from one button to another its not good, u must realease and press a button, yes most normal plauy style, but in fighting game thats not alway eeven possible and its anyway a pumber, some combos in mk11 u must glide just, some wery few, cant be fast enogh with no glide. but the Dpad for fighting games are awsome on C40, but the buttons are as i told, and u cant get it to show PS4 icons connected to pc in a game, so the move list on mk11 is like x box look and the Astro c40 is Ps4 Icons. this is cuz its made to be a box device on the pc, your pc register is a x box and not a PS4, and thats why u cant change it in the staem controll settings. so the Elite 2 is better there, and better buttons, but the grip and the D pad is much better on the Astro c4.
Someone?? combine this two controllrs plz!
