I used these gloves for a year about 3 times a week for sparring and sometimes hitting the bag. They cost me about $500. The stitching and velcro are falling apart watch the video.

$500. Wow. Grant makes nice looking gloves, but for the price you paid, you got ripped off, man. I'm sorry to say that, honestly. Besides Winning, Have you tried looking into Thai gloves? You can get a custom pair of Thai gloves (Fairtex, Top King, Twins) for a $100. Fairtex even makes a Mexican-style glove that's incredibly similar to Reyes (the BGV 9).

I still remember when you could buy a pair of Grants for sub-$200. Custom or not, their prices are obscene especially with the quality issues. The company has really lost their way. Sorry again, man. That's inexcusable QC.

timothy medina, If you're hitting the bags in the gym then go with Winning. For an official bout I would use Reyes or Grant.

I recently contacted Grant Boxing to inquire about purchasing 14 oz. lace up training gloves and a large headgear for my nephew. This was the quote I received:

14 oz Pro Lace up Training Gloves in White/Black run $650.00 USD a pair.

(1) Pro Headgear in White/Black runs $575.00 USD.

The next morning I drove over to Santa Monica with my nephew and had Kazumichi over at Winning equip him from head to toe (headgear, gloves and cup) It was still $300 less than Grants outlandish pricing.

The poster is right. 500 dollars and they don't use top notch velcro to hold up the glove. For a product costing that much, it's not ok. Try bringing up the complaint to Grant headquarter and see what they tell you lol

that's why I always prefer laces over hook and loop

I recently got a quote from Grant for 16oz hook and loop gloves. The cost was $900 !!! Why would anyone pay that much money ?

I wish you had more videos, anyway I am looking for sparring gloves. Which one would you recommend. I am looking at rival or ringside

The stitching and seams coming off and the loose velcro. Grant's quality has gone down hill in the last 4 to 5 years as the price went up. They are like 120 dollar quality gives if that with the busted seams and the loose velcro that doesn't hold

the velcro strap on my everlast glove lasted barely a month

Always get laces for sparring. No gloves last forever, no matter how much you pay or how long you wait for them.

I like grant but they are very expensive, everlast powerlock and Mexico edition are from $100-150
