Every time I fix something, someone comes up and says "that looks like crap" or something like that. Doesn't matter if it's perfect. Someone always finds fault. I usually just reply "a man riding by on a fast horse will not likely see it the way you do." And then I move on to something else. I think you did a fine job. It works. That's the point. I have used the fence stretcher method. This seems a whole lot easier and just as effective. I bought a Texas fence stretcher, and it works great.

Great tip. To the naysayers, I would ask just how strong does the fence need to be? With barbed wire, it only need to be strong enough to poke the animal in the nose.
