When I used this machine for cutting rail I was always instructed that never use the machine if a blade was already affixed remove and replace with new blade. 2nd after starting turn away from group team members hold machine perpendicular to ground pull trigger for 30 seconds at full revs to see if problems occur blade explodes etc. Then make cuts is this still recommended

That mask is the minimum of protection! LOLOLOL Wear a fitted respirator with the proper cartridges and swap them when they say your supposed to.
