Some staple Linux applications doesn't work as well on Windows.
For example, the way Neovim and Emacs use the "time", "ls" and "find" commands. They are aliases but input and output are different on Windows.

winget is built into Windows 10 as long as you're on the latest versions.

Winget has gotten better in the past few years to the point where even your average application is on it.

There is something call SCCM but it's outdated and primarily used by companies.

For me Linux made me better at Mac OS, and actually made me appreciate Mac OS more than I already did. Once you understand the Unix part of Mac OS, whole new doors are opened up for you in terms of cool apps and customizability

Windows has "package managers" that're clearly more than afterthoughts. They were basically hacked in by force and don't work nearly as well or smoothly as native PMs on Linux

Pkease, lets not even associate win and lin. Linux is in a much higher class of OS than win ever thought of being. Win is a mistake they forgot to change...now we are living wih uglyness.
