Uecker and Scully were the best storytellers baseball broadcasting ever had.

Everyone was a *Bob Uecker* fan! During the summer, sometimes at night I would open the MLB app and scroll for the Brewers game just to hear him call the game. It made me feel like a kid again. Thank you, Bob! You meant a lot to many and will be painfully missed. Rest peacefully.

I'm 68 yrs old. I remember his Miller beer commercials back then with fondness. And his Johnny Carson appearances, his face with that deadpan humor. RIP "Mr Baseball".

I feel like someone stole part of my childhood today. Bob Uecker was a giant part of my youth as I spent countless days and nights listening to him call games for my beloved Brewers. I can still remember him screaming with joy “Robin flying around third” as Yount scored what was a pretty normal run on a base hit. Uecker just adored the Brewers and kept his immense passion for a team that struggled for many years following the heights of the 1980’s. I’ll never forget the wonderful and hilarious stories he told about his time in the military or during his stint with the Braves and in the minors. RIP Uek, I hope you understand how much you meant and how loved you are by so many Brewers fans

Bob Uecker is more important to baseball in Milwaukee than a glove or a bat. There were decades where we didn't use much of either but Ueck always kept us company. I literally don't know a Brewers without him. Don't want to.
