Bob Uecker was one of the funniest people ever. One would never imagine that he was Johnny Carson's favorite guest ever, making over 100 appearances on his show.

bob's humor belies his toughness, he was known to defend his black teammates during a not so harmonious time, baseball players if you don't know, can be some less than intelligent and stellar parts of society, coming from very segregated areas... rip bob, you are already missed.
