I started this yesterday, on a whim. Oh? The other projects I've teased? Ah, gee, totally don't know what you're talking about (has been procrastinating for weeks)
This actually makes me really happy, y'all don't understand, I wanted to do a desertduo animatic that shows scar's perspective of the duo foreverrr. Mainly doublelife, of course! Was super fun to work on :DD

OH MY GOSH the Scar POV watching as Grian gets a “secret soulmate”, then both of them pulling at their soulmate bond until it SNAPS—

Your animatic just made me realise a fantastic point.
Grian made his point to Scar that they were soulmates with the dripstone. Grian killed BigB with drip stone on his soulmate.

Also absolutely fantastic animatic. There were so many people saying scar was not bothered by Grian wanting BigB as a soulmate when the plot was first going around but Scar was clearly upset. It’s nice seeing these from Scars point of view. Betrayed by his soulmate and then no real resolution for it because BigB died instead of Grian choosing Scar and then both of them dying. A perfect soulmate story you’ve perfectly captured

Is it just me or does "white, white leaves" sound like "why, why me" and it just really matches this

YEYSYGBSGHBUYSA, THIS IS SO i love seeing the growing bitterness caused by them being paired together, and grian seeing out bigb as a soulmate instead of scar. you always communicate emotions SO WELL, and i could practically feel scar's anger watching this. AND GOD, SCAR LAYING THERE AFTER GRIAN GOT THEM KILLED, IM AAWHAYUFUAF

Oh this is brilliant!! I adore how you draw scar. The bit with them tugging at their bond until it snapped is so good!! I really love how scar’s expression gets more furious with each frame. The bit where it’s a flashback to third life makes it all hurt so much more!! Love your art!!

fr though Local how do you always know how to just rip somebody's heart out???? God the lighting, the movement, the poses and cinematography- incredible, show stopping work. I am going to replay this like 89 times and it will live RENT free in my head for the next week URHGUIRWHGUWIRHGUWR
