ok so Sequoia- the white cat at the start of the video- is the ex-wife of Nutmeg- the blue-gray Scottish fold cat.
They were a happy couple for a little while, until their second child, Cinders. Where their first child, Cypress, was a regular cat, Cinders was a mystic element. This meant he was born with horns, two tails, and his fur was a dull magenta.

Sequoia, horrified, treated her own son like a monster- a secret to be kept hidden. Cinders was kept in the attic, rarely ever fed. The only way he survived was through Cypress sneaking him food and water.

While Sequoia was worried about her son ruining the family's reputation, Nutmeg was more willing to treat him like a person. This put serious strain on their relationship, and one night Sequoia lashed out at Nutmeg with her claws.

The wounds were serious- he'd lost an eye and would definitely need stitches. Sequoia, mortified and fearful as to what might happen, made everyone in the family swear to never speak of this night again. Nutmeg was taken to the hospital and Sequoia lied to the staff and police, saying that he'd fallen down the stairs and cut his face on something.

The secret would be kept safe for years- a dark patch in the family's history.
