From childhood, I had a doubt which lingered at the back of my mind. Unfortunately, I did not properly address it until my mid-twenties.
In this video I’ll explore what prevented me from looking into the topic, and how this doubt kick-started me on a journey of discovery which would ultimately result in my disassociation from the organization.

The sheer badassery of using the disfellowshipping announcement as an intro. I like very much.

Please keep making videos. You will soon explode in subs and views. Keep it going, you are a natural gifted orator, and your voice needs to be heard.

Hi! Thank you for sharing your journey. I’m a former Roman Catholic Priest, I hold a Master’s Degree of Divine Theology, I studied theology in Rome at the Gregorian University. I have a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and because of my studies, because I asked questions I realized the absolute falsehood of religious doctrine. Your elegance in sharing your movement into learning, logic and critical thinking are so well done and deliberate and I have no doubt as you continue your education your voice will be more and more powerful and relevant. Keep sharing if you care to and best to you. Cheers.

I lost my best friend to this cult. She had been out of it for 20 years then about 3 months ago she started going again. I'm not sure how she doesn't see the craziness of it. We've been best friends for 9 almost 10 years. During that time she was always a leader never a follower. Then being last year she started going through some rough times. I was by her side every day trying to help her through it. But because of these hard times she started searching for something to make her happy. She started going to Bible study with her grandmother and before I knew it she had jumped whole heartily back into it. Since I am not a witness it started putting a widget in between our friendship. I really hate that things have turned out the way it has. I wish nothing but happiness for her. If she finds happiness in the witness then great but I'm afraid that it's going to turn into a disaster. If it does I'll be here if she needs me. I love her like my sister and hope for nothing but the best for her.

Excellent reasoning! I spent 12 years as an elder. I left for many reasons, but one of them was because the natural world presents so much indisputable evidence that the JW version of events made no sense. After being raised from a child as JW, science convinced me that the JW view of our past, present and therefore our future could not possibly be true. I left and began to develop my interest in science and truth. As a teacher now, I encourage all my students to question everything! Only by asking questions can we increase our knowledge. Keep up the great work, your video provides the kind of reasoning that promotes inteligent thinking.

Having been raised a JW, my first clear instance of cognitive dissonance occurred because of animals too. They preached that humans would live forever, but animals wouldn't. I remember being about 10 or 12, and asking my mother, "How are we never going to be sad ever again if the animals are going to die?" She said something about Jehovah making us forget, or some garbage like that. But that answer didn't satisfy me. I was a child who loved her pet cats dearly. I didn't WANT to forget them. From then on, whenever someone talked about the New System, I just couldn't imagine myself there. With my mind rejecting the carrot, it became easier to recognize the stick.

Years later, having spent time working with animals - at shelters, then a hospital - I learned more about feline biology and the fact that they're obligate carnivores. Even still, it never occurred to me that that fact was a Jenga piece that could send the infallibility of the Bible toppling down. For you to consider that point at a young age, that's some big brain thinking. I'm really impressed.

Always more testimonials, always more activism, always more videos, always more voluntary withdrawals. The Watchtower Society is breaking down from year to year. The end is coming but not the end hoped for by the Watchtower.

When I was in high school, someone asked my Religious Studies teacher about dinosaurs. She said "dinosaur fossils were created by scientists to make people believe in the theory of evolution"

Congratulations for freeing yourself from being bamboozled. That must've been a very painful process. I was raised Catholic and figuring out the truth was a long, difficult & lonely journey for me. Keep up the good work.

The topic you talk about reminds me of something that JW Critical Thinker once said. "Its better to have questions you can't answer, than to have answers you can't question" . They don't want people to question the official doctrine, because the more questions people ask, the more their ideas fall apart and don't hold up to scrutiny.

My husband and I discovered you by Lloyd Events. We can understand you very well, even though we come from Germany and English is not our mother tongue. You have a lot of potential for a big channel. 👍👍👍

I was a ministerial servant but left the JWs 30 years ago. Its amazing today to see so many ex-witnesses on YT explaining the falsehood of the organisation. It was impossible of course back then. Keep it up.
