I have 2018 Volvo with Eaton 10 speed push button I had a problem with sensors it was staking in high gear so I just replaced shifter and now everything is working fine but the service light is still flashing along with F in the dash I took it to dealer they spend 6 hours and couldn’t determine what it is so I took the Truck back and still driving like that

Nothing complicated about this setup. I just wish an XY shifter kit with in-cab electronic shift controller existed to retrofit older Fuller transmissions. It's still a manual transmission, I still control the clutch, but instead of a stick, I could use an electronic controller inside cab to initiate upshifts/downshifts. It would not be an automated shift but just replacing physical stick with electronic controller which could be mounted to dash, steering wheel column, or even side of drivers seat. It seems awfully stupid to upgrade from a Fuller Advantage 10-speed manual to the Ultrashift Plus 10-speed autoshift when they both are the same damn physical transmission.

My XY shifter crapped out as Im told. Truck is in the shop waiting for parts. 2019 Western Star with 18spd Eaton Automatic. Only 80, 000 km or 50, 000 miles. Warranty expired 21 days ago and no help or support from Eaton. Im pissed!!!

03/2022 XY $850 Harness $230, out with the old, and drop the new within an hour. Just clean the area as much as you can before you pull it out to avoid any dirt falling in the tranny. BTW, you don't have to replace the harness unless it has visible damage, or its real old .

Questione, im getti g code fmi 7 with spn 22 . My mechanic says i need a new clutch and actuator, but i wanted to know you guys take on it? Cause mine also skip gears and then when it hits 7th it goes into neutral, or says transmission failure.

How many wiring harness is is the clutch and transmission connected to in a Cummins eaten automatic?
And what could stop the ECU from connecting to the computer?

Just replaced mine on my truck it wouldn’t shift into highrange so it would basically got 2, 3, 4, 5 then it would rev out and the trans box would through a fault code

Can you put the x y shifter on any manual transmission? I’m looking into buying a dump truck for a very good deal and have hopes if possibly converting it to automatic/autoshift

Mine hesitate from 2nd to 3rd.. have to stop and go like 10 times before it go into 3rd..once in 3rd it shift like new

Gen 3 Ultra Shift reman is $525. Disassembly and assembly takes 1 hr at the most. So, no, it is not $1000. $600 total. If you put a harness- $350-400 more

Why convert it to manual when you already spent money on repairing it and once repaired auto will last twice as long
