I Brushless Swapped my RC LOWRIDER and took it DRIFTING

I recently bought the Redcat 1979 Monte Carlo Lowrider and immediately decided to brushless swap it and see if i can take it drifting. while its not a typical upgrade for the 10th scale lowrider, its defiantly one I've been wanting to do for a while. The upgrade was pretty easy and straight forward. I'll show you exactly how I did it and what modifications I needed to make to finish everything. We'll put some RC drift wheels and tires on it and see if we can slide this thing around while we hit the switches and 3 wheel this thing while drifting.

A great wheel for this would be the American racing vf533 if you play forza it is in the specialty wheel section.

How did y'all keep from stripping gears. I'm using a different receiver but the same motor and the same as esc and the EPA is turned all the way up on the throttle. Take off slow but driving full speed I cannot get my gearbox gears to last any more than a week because they self disintegrate

Takes motor out. Doesnt even unplug battery. LOL also battery in the rear for hopping

Im curious if you put a jdm body over it take it to a drift rc track and reveal at the end it has front back side to side what the reaction would be.

Try adding a gyro and maybe some more steering angle to see if you cam make it drift like a purpose built one!
