Traxxas TQ Transmitter Factory Reset (Model 6516, 6517, 3047)

This video shows how to reset your Traxxas TQ transmitter back to factory settings. The label on the bottom shows model 6516, 6517, and 3047.

If you don't want to watch the video, the steps are:
1. Hold in set and turn on transmitter (led blinks red)
2. Keep set held in for 10 secs (led blinks green)
3. At green led, release set button
4. Turn wheel left, press set
5. Turn wheel right, press set
6. Pull trigger full throttle, press set
7. Push trigger full brake, press set
8. Led will be solid green, it's now factory reset
9. Jump up and down with glee

After resetting the transmitter, you will need to re-bind it to the receiver. I would also re-calibrate your esc.

This is what I needed! My Bandit was having an issue where it wouldn't go forward when I turned the power on. Only moving in reverse and then going forward seemed to work.

I’ve tried this factory reset because my sons car just randomly stopped going forward. Reverse and steering works fine I just can’t get it to drive forward. Any advice for me?

I’m trying to fix an Xmaxx for a friend, I’m not very familiar with them however I’m wondering if the ESC is bad. I performed the steps outlined for setting the throttle end points by holding down the power button until the light turns red. Registering full throttle (two blinks) then registry for reverse (three blinks) and then a domino of red lights appear on the ESC, Indicating that it registered correctly. Then after that if I pull the trigger it recognizes the action but immediately cuts off/powers down the ESC.Any ideas?

I got an Spartan boat and they Traxxas factory said they fix it but when I put the boat in the water it wants to go slow and hum I done what they told me to do I Grease the bearing ect and flush the castle out and balance the two Batteries.
