In this video I will show you the best ways to mix EDM, but the first thing to note is EDM is actually an acronym for Electronic Dance Music so technically EDM is all dance and house music, but these days people often refer to EDM as being Big room, electro house, bounce and even most commercial dance music.

But no matter what your definition of EDM is, in this video I will show you how to mix big room, electro house and dance and by the end of the video you’re going to know what it takes to mix these kinds of genres at a world class standard.

Hi there and thank you again for such great instruction. i have a question, is the 1st way the same as 3rd way? meaning you are replacing the drops during these transitions? method 1 you are coming in at the 2nd part of chorus with the build of song 1. method 3, you are coming in on the build of song 1 with build of song 2? i want to sign up for chorus but want to make sure i understand this to be correct. I use the cross fade to mix, i dont know if that is wrong? I just feel comfortable with that method though, but unsure if i need to use the volume sliders method instead
