Polo 6R - Installing Honda OE auto-dimming rear view mirror

Here’s a detailed video which shows how to install Honda’s OE auto-dimming rear view mirror on the Polo.

The mirror costs just Rs 422 and the entire project can be executed in under Rs 800 which makes it a totally worthwhile investment especially if you undertake a lot of night drives.

This mirror comes standard in the top-end variants of the fourth gen. Honda City and luckily, the mount is compatible with several cars from other manufacturers - Skoda, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Ford and obviously Honda.

Part number of the mirror is 76400T4RJ11.

A well informative video. Gannu if possible can you make a video about installation of fanfare horn(high tone + low tone) horn on polo?Since last few years polo is coming with single high tone horn and some services Center’s are not really helpful to do the installation

I would like to know if I can change the 1st generation vento speedometer (red background) to the 2nd generation vento speedometer ( black background)

In the case of VW Polo/Vento can we add a switch dedicated to this IRVM so that the battery doesn't take load whenever we start the engine? If so, what should be the rating of the switch used?
