I think if you had studs on top so you can have minifigs attached it would make it more Lego-y. The last one is the best and if you just have bricks with studs on the side it'd be perfect

Tbh the one in intro is better than others

Just use the 1-4 tile pieces with just the 2 studs at each end and place them atop each other on only one of their studs, it makes a pretty good staircase
