New York City's Metropolitan Transit Agency, which for 13 years has provided real-time information on subway, train and bus service outages, delays and other important updates for its 1.3 million followers, will stop using Twitter for such alerts.

$50, 000 a month?! While everyone else is paying $8?! I thought they wanted everyone to be equal? I thought they wanted to help humanity? What a crock. What are they charging celebrities then, who didn’t even want to pay the $8?

i actually deleted my account when Musk bought it and only opened one up for the alerts. Now i deleted my account again 😂
