Schimmel Pianos developed the instrument in collaboration with the German pianist and music educator Peter Heilbut. Designed specifically for early music education, the piano allows students and teachers to play the piano together side by side. On the occasion of Heilbut's 100th birth anniversary, we have asked Nikolaus Schimmel to tell us more about this historical instrument.
