How to Exit Xiaomi's MIUI Recovery Mode

This is an hardware issue, when volume up and down button gets shorted. Remove ur cover and give some taps n kicks on volume button till Both the buttons should work independently(+ button should navigate upwards and - button should navigate downwards independently). Then try to reboot it will work.

It could be the power button was stuck, I tried to press several continued times to release it and voila, It worked for me

My redmi note 8 pro just crashed after the update. It is restarting by itself and can't even get to any menu at all. I tried pressing all 3 buttons for a minute and everything I could find on you tube. Nothing works! And yes, my phone was plugged during the update. 100% Battery

The best solution that I am sure about working effectively is :
1) Press the third option
(Connect with MiAssistant)

2)Put the phone in charge
3)Dont do anything else and wait for around 5 minutes maximum
4) Voila, your phone would restart by itself to the actual lock screen.
